Healthcare to Remain Unaffordable

Now that the Obamacare repeal is dead, the Republican party has effectively decided that they want to lose their seats next November.

Apparently, disdain for President Trump trumps actually winning for them.

I am disappointed in Congress and I hope that President Trump blasts them hard in the State of the Union.  My health care premiums are now about 650 a month after the 50% my company pays for.  Just a few years ago, I had a plan that was 250 a month total.

Republicans aren’t leaders.  They are losers who wish to absolve themselves of all responsibility while trying to pretend to be leaders.

This is the same thing I’ve seen in the corporate world.  No one wants to stand for anything because to do so would mean you are engaging in leadership and would have to be responsible for the decisions you make.

This is all part of our cultural rot.  Everyone wants to have the freedom to have fun and enjoy life but we refuse to take responsibility for our actions.

The Republicans and Democrats would rather rape children than provide affordable healthcare for the ever-dwindling middle class.  Keep that in mind when more leaks about the degenerate behavior they engage in comes out.  They would rather dry hump cocktail waitresses instead of protecting this country.

We are living in an aristocracy, not a democracy or a republic.  The mere fact that Donald Trump is a miracle from God.  He’s never been an aristocrat, which is why the Republicans oppose him and undermine him.

Fuck those guys.

The Welfare of a Nation

All welfare is corporate welfare, in some way or another.  Case in point:

Over a six-year period, Ivy League schools have received tens of billions in tax dollars, bringing in more money from taxpayers than from undergraduate student tuition. In fact, they received more federal cash than 16 state governments.

The stunning numbers are all part of a new report, first seen by Fox News, released Wednesday by Open the Books -- a non-profit group whose stated mission is to capture and post online all disclosed spending at every level of government.

There’s a dirty secret about Ivy League schools most people don’t realize: the education you receive there isn’t that much better than what you get any most other decent colleges.

For the most part, when you attend an Ivy League school, you are merely building friendships and connections with people who will be the real future leaders of the world.  From most politicians to most significant business leaders, many of them have attended the Ivy League.

So finding out that they’ve received way more money than most US states from the Federal government comes as no surprise to me.  Those colleges are all about educating the elite and keeping them in a bubble designed to keep them away from the rest of us.  Can’t have our folksy values damaging their fragile minds, can we?

While normally I really wouldn’t care, especially if the elites have been doing a good job governing, it is clear that this program is just more waste.  The elites only care for themselves, despite claiming the contrary opinion, and only care about humanity in the abstract sense.  For them, humanity is nothing more than farm animals to be guided by their 120 IQs.

The problem with this kind of spending is that eventually, they are going to have to decide between subsidizing all these programs and maintaining roads.  Funding for road maintenance has often been pillaged by politicians to fund their own pet projects but with the recent bridge collapse in Atlanta, we may see a turn around.

Sure, we feed the poor people to obesity, but God forbid I drive down a road without potholes.

Something is going to give.  And sooner or later, even the normal citizens will begin to push back against the r-selected assholes living on their dole.

Which may or may not involve concentration camps.

Migration is a Welfare State Issue

The main reason for mass migration in the West is to prop up the welfare state.

I know that there are other reasons for it, but this is the main one.  And the primary reason for the need for mass migration is because of the dwindling populations of the natives that are required for the welfare rolls of the aging population.

In other words, old people didn’t have enough children to fund their government welfare retirement programs.

The fact is, the entire welfare system is a scam and steals from the production to fund the lifestyles of the lazy.  Instead of saving their money in the long-term so that when they are unable to work anymore, they can afford to keep on living the way they have been, instead they demand money from the young and productive.

Worse yet, they either refuse to live with their children because they either didn’t have any children or because the children they did have don’t particularly like them.

Demographic replacement wouldn’t be an issue if the welfare state was non-existent or limited to natural-born citizens only.  In light of that, many people wouldn’t have immigrated here in the first place because to many third-world migrants, “land of opportunity” usually has something to do with free shit from sociopathic politicians.

So in order to stem the tide of the r-type migrants who want nothing more than free shit and sexual access to native women, I propose we just get rid of the welfare state.

For everyone.

Maybe then the migrant issue will become more apparent and more people will realize that it is a war and not a charity to let that many people into your country.

Deep State Being Dug Up

So WikiLeaks has released huge amounts of data regarding the CIA.  The highlights of it suggest something many of us with an IQ above 105 have known for some time: that they have the ability to spy on you through just about every network-connected device.

That includes smart phones, cable boxes, smart TVs, and maybe even your appliances if they synch up with some kind of electronic network.

Coincidentally (or not), this data dump came out following President Trump accusing former President Obama of spying on him during the presidential election.  Frankly, I would be surprised if that communist wasn’t using his office to further the Party.

As for us common folk, I wouldn’t get too worried.  Unless you run afoul of some asshole with a security clearance and access to the hackers, you should be okay.  The simple fact is, there isn’t enough people to monitor the entirety of online interactions and communications.

But if the Deep State takes interest in you, expect every electronic device to be hacked, bugged, and otherwise compromised.  But also expect to be followed and surveilled by field agents on a regular basis as well.  After all, while we post a lot of information online, there is much more information that can be obtained through in person observation.

So if you’re being spied upon, it won’t just be your cell phone, smart TV, and blender.  You’ll see the same stranger in your neighborhood and the same car following you.  If it becomes more frequent, you might want to see if you can get yourself some form of protection because they could close in to murder you.

And they’ll make it look like natural causes or some kind of accident.

I don’t know what the objectives of the Deep State are, but I doubt they are aligned with benefitting the American people or any other people besides their own.  And unless they are working to suppress some kind of Lovecraftian cosmic being from destroying the world, I don’t think they are doing any good either.

I believe that WikiLeaks has a lot more dirt on the CIA, maybe even proof that they have been smuggling illegal drugs into the country.  And it looks like they have released more claiming that ISIS was created by the CIA, another non-surprise now backed with actual proof.

I hope that WikiLeaks keeps on doing what they are doing.  I hope they release all the data and expose the Satanist Deep State for what they really are.

Because the only way we are going to drain the swamp is by purging these yahoos from government work.

White Guilt Brings Measles Back

More reasons to shut down immigration in the US:

The first reported case of a person with measles in the recent Memphis outbreak, which now numbers seven confirmed cases, was at a local mosque on April 15, according to the Shelby County Health Department.

“The first public place where there was a public exposure potentially [to measles] was theMasjid Al-Noor Mosque on April 15,” Dr. Alisa Haushalter, Director of the Shelby County Health Department, tells Breitbart News.

“The mosque is one location we know that individuals who were infectious were during their infectious period, but that’s not necessarily where the first case occurred. I don’t want you to draw conclusions without sufficient information,” she added.

Haushalter acknowledged, however, that the measles outbreak could have originated with an unvaccinated for measles adult or child brought to Tennessee under the federal refugee resettlement program, something she called “a possibility amongst many.”

So let’s get some things out of the way:

  1. Even if you have the measles vaccine, you can still contract measles.  This has happened in the past, very recently in fact, so saying that you are vaccinated against it doesn’t mean total immunity.
  2. This kind of thing endangers children because many babies don’t get the vaccines until a certain amount of time passes.  So, any child being placed in a daycare center could end up getting this disease from unvaccinated third-world caretakers.
  3. I do vaccinate my children against measles because the disease can cause blindness and it is untreatable, for the most part.

White guilt is literally bringing measles back into vogue.  We in the West didn’t use dead fetus tissue to create the vaccine for no reason after all.

It is high time we brought common sense, reason, and rational thinking back into our immigration policy and stopped arguing for more migrants in order to prove we aren’t racist to assholes who hate us.

I’ll let that last part sink in.

Called It on Trump

What did I say about Trump?  And here he is confirming what I said:

Trump told CNBC he would not renegotiate U.S. bonds but would buy back at discounts, depending where interest rates are.

"Part of the problem is when a lot of this debt comes due, what happens if the rates are high and we have no budget that can even conceivably take care of this," Trump said.

If interest rates go up just 1 percent, Trump said, it would be devastating for the economy.

"I think there are times for us to refinance, refinance debt with longer term," he said. "Because you know we owe so much money. Nobody talks about it - nobody talks about it until the bubble pops. And the bubble could pop, and it could pop and it could be ugly."

This is a man who knows business.  In an institution where its leaders have literally no concept of how to run a business and yet handle the world’s largest corporation, we have a self-made corporate billionaire already trying to fix things.

Trump will be the CEO who comes in and saves the company from bankruptcy, or at least delays it long enough to cushion the blow.

Nobody right now besides Trump is calling for refinancing or defaulting on the national debt.  Nobody important anyway.  It is the squid in the room that the Griffin family ignores.

While I don’t know if Trump will be able to do anything like what he is proposing, it is certainly worth a shot.

Abolish the Federal Courts

In the Supreme Court case Nix v. Hedden, the court ruled that the tomato was a fruit and not a vegetable, mostly for tariff purposes.  Despite botanical classifications at the time (which I believe still apply today), the court overruled science itself for political convenience.

The reason I point this out is because somehow everyone seems to accept that the Supreme Court has the final say on everything.  Once they declare an interpretation, it is considered to be the final interpretation unless they say otherwise in the future.

I recall a flaw in Ayn Rand’s own philosophy where she said that the “philosophers” would determine the morality of society.  I say that the Supreme Court is nothing but a bunch of overpaid philosophers and not actual judges.

While Congress and the Presidents so seem to engage in magic thinking from time to time, no more is it found more ridiculous than in the halls of the Supreme Court.  Magic thinking is a form of thinking where the thinker believes he or she can alter the very fabric of reality by thought alone.  It usually crops up in mystic circles outside of the government but the government and many scientists (usually government-funded) do so as well.

The courts have long been arrogant in their practices, refining the court system to a point where the punishment is usually not the actual sentencing but the process leading up to your verdict.  Sometimes, even the sentencing is a lie and because most average citizens don’t give a damn about “convicts”, we see convicts constantly harassed by government men for decades after their punishment is over.

In my opinion, we should do away with the court system entirely.  What should have happened is that the Constitution should have required a regular meeting of the representatives of the States to determine what Federal legislations should be allowed to remain.  Any interpretations of said laws could have been determined there anyway.

The Federal court system is a joke and really should be abolished in my opinion.

The Underrepresentation of the Married in DC

The Washington Post gleefully reports that bureaucrats make good Valentine’s Day dates:

Washington has a lot of rich, single people and a lot of nice date spots, therefore it’s the best city to find love on Valentine’s Day. Or so goes the logic of a new Zillow study that awarded the District the dubious distinction of being the best city for finding love this Feb. 14.

Zillow, an online real estate database, looked at cities with a population of more than 250,000 people and determined which locales had a lot of date spots (restaurants, bars, movie theaters, etc.) and a high number of single people who could afford to fill these establishments. The rankings also took into account which cities had a high percentage of new residents because “you may benefit from an influx of fresh, single faces to prevent a dating scene where everyone knows everyone.”

In other words, the country is basically run by bitter single people who have no concept of what the rest of the United States is like.

For those of us who live outside of the void of insanity that is know as Washington, DC, we probably suspected this.  DC is the center for most of the anti-family policies which are passed on down through the government into the local police department.

You know?  Like the policy that a man should be arrested in all domestic abuse cases even if his wife was the abuser.  Or where a six-year-old boy is listed as a sex offender for hugging his teacher.

This is because single people have this strange ideal about how people should behave in marriage that is largely rigid and unrealistic.  Give such people power over marriage via state contracts and suddenly we have bizarre and downright tyrannical policies concerning private matters.

As an outsider looking into DC, I want nothing to do with it.  The party scene was never really my scene (never could stand the noise and I never developed a taste for beer) but at the same time, I also wouldn’t want to be around the morons who run the think tanks, the lobby groups, and the congressional staff members.  It would disgust me.

I think married people are underrepresented in DC.  And this latest article proves it.

Dismantle the CIA

A couple of days ago, I tweeted the following:

I had long suspected that the CIA was an out of control agency with actors operating in spite of presidential executive orders and congressional oversight.  Gary Webb exposed their involvement in drug smuggling.  And now we have confirmed reports of torture that went beyond even what the Bush administration officially allowed.

It would have been one thing if the US government allowed torture of prisoners.  While we can debate the morality of it, if the government made it legal as a tactic to be used against prisoners of war to garner information, there would have been no problem.

But torture is not legal in the United States.  All agencies are forbidden from using torture against prisoners of all types, regardless of nationality or threat level.  This is a simple and indisputable fact.

Of course, the stated reason against torture is not a moral one, but a utilitarian one where torture does not produce good results in interrogation.  God forbid our government actually take a moral stance on something that is clearly immoral.  That would be the establishment of religion or some other nonsense.

Sarcasm aside, the simple fact is that the CIA was not supposed to use torture methods at all.  Even the Bush administration tried to call waterboarding and other torture techniques “enhanced interrogation techniques.”  It wasn’t until he left office that he said it was torture.  Talk about political spin.

But they were lying even to the Bush administration about what they were doing.  Behind the scenes, they were ritualistically torturing prisoners of war for what appears to be the sheer fun of it.  Seriously, I doubt you could get much more information from someone after waterboarding him 163 times.  At that point, it is merely an exercise in sadism.

What is worse is the fact that they were lying to the extent that they were.  The Bush administration and much of Congress had their back and they still lied to them.  Yet, in spite of this, nobody is being indicted for perjury, a very serious offense against Congress as Roger Clemens found.  Ironic that Congress cares more about lying about steroid use than about it’s own agencies lying to them about their day-to-day operations.

The fact is this: the CIA is a rogue agency that does not answer to Congressional oversight or Presidential authority.  They are a covert government unto themselves and routinely use their powers to commit horrendous crimes against humanity.  I would say that this latest escapade is a fairly recent phenomenon but it is not.  Look up the facts surrounding the MKUltra project, a program designed to traumatize children into become adults with multiple personalities disorder or Gary Webb’s report on CIA drug-running.

The entire agency needs to be dismantled, their top officials prosecuted for war crimes, and their assets, official or otherwise, need to be sold to pay down the national debt.  They do nothing to prevent wars and atrocities and instead engage in their own.  They are 7 times the sons of Hell than the people they target.

It is high time that the American people push to have them shut down completely.

Illegal Aliens Are Negligent Parents

It is high time I weigh in on the current immigration issue.  Currently, there are thousands of illegal aliens pouring over the border and being funneled into concentration camps set up by the Federal government.  The sad thing is, many of these illegal aliens are children.  Children who are abandoned by their parents and told to go to America.

I cannot help but think that this deliberate on the part of the Obama administration in order to push through amnesty.  He has said he would pass through amnesty by executive decision in the past, so it is not out of the realm of possibility that he would use children for political ends.

So we have an administration whose standing orders are to let everyone in and extort the American people out of money in order to secure the border.  From where I stand, we have enough troops and military equipment that can close the border in less than a month.  No extra funding is needed, just ground troops.  Hell, they could even get back all those military vehicles that they’ve sold to local police squads.

On the other, I’ve noticed that nobody significant has pointed out the obvious: that these are children of negligent parents.

The Hispanic invaders on our southern borders are children whose parents have abandoned them.  To put this in perspective for those of you who think that not letting brown people in is racist, this is the equivalent of white trailer trash abandoning their kids on the border and telling them to go to Mexico.

In fact, maybe we should exchange undesirables.  At least the trash south of the border doesn’t speak terrible English.

The point is, the Hispanic leaders of Central and South America are dumping their undesirables off on the US border and then collecting taxes on the money that is wired back to their negligent parents.  That’s the scam.

I know that there are many people who feel sorry for children.  It isn’t their fault that their parents abandoned them and I agree with that assessment.

So I propose a solution: we help those kids, send them back south of the border and we charge Mexico and all the other Central American countries for our trouble.

Of course, that’s not going to happen.  Instead we’re going to continue to transplant these abandoned children into concentration camps and turn them into Hitler youth.

Cantor’s Defeat Brought Illegals

The recent outrage over the immigration issue is nothing new.  Except that it is clear that this is a manufactured issue following Eric Cantor’s defeat.

Think about it.  You have a top Republican leader in Congress kicked out of office for his stance on immigration and suddenly, the Obama administration starts trucking in Mexicans by the hundreds like a reverse Holocaust.

It’s a brilliant strategy really.  If you get tons of immigrants crossing the border, you outrage more and more Republican base voters (or conservatives as they are called) and they vote out the bums who support this.

We know that House Speaker John Boehner doesn’t know how to play politics properly.  I doubt he views the Democrats as an enemy but more like a friendly rival.  He seems to be adverse to adversity and cries way too much in public.

And now he is in a real pickle.  He has expressed desire to legalize all illegal immigrants in the past and now the government is literally shipping them all in.  So he now has to either denounce himself or face the wrath of the conservative base.

It’s a pretty basic divide and conquer strategy and tactically brilliant on the part of the Obama administration.  They get more Mexican voters while at the same time weakening the Republican base.

They also get slave labor for their corporate butt buddies and sweet ass corporate deals following the end of their term.

Watching civilization collapse has never been so fun.

Roads And Schools

Of all the non-violent services that government provides, none has been more touted as necessary and great by both the Left and the Right as roads and schools.  Without government, apparently nobody would bother to teach children how to put a condom on a banana properly or get those potholes filled in with gravel.

So often is the case made for government to provide both roads and schools, that it is literally the default position or nearly every pundit and politician out there.  Hell, some politicians and pundits seem to think that because the government builds the roads and schools, that all production belongs to the government.  You know, the whole “you didn’t build that” line.

When it comes to roads, I wonder how much better our roads would be if the government wasn’t involved at all.  Here on the Rim of Insanity, there is always major road construction going on somewhere nearby.  Beyond that, traffic congestion is insane.  Apparently, nobody bothered to build more bridges to get into DC or to cross the state lines into Maryland.

On top of that, the roads that do exist are usually in poor condition.  Potholes, cracks, and other road hazards are everywhere.  And despite the abundance of signs, nobody really seems to pay attention to them.  And of course, the only response to “moving violations” is to simply tax the citizens.

In addition, we have gasoline taxes built into the cost of gasoline which are supposed to be allocated to road maintenance and development.  Except most of the time, that money goes elsewhere, especially with the Federal government’s take.

And then we have local and state governments zoning areas for us to live and work, yet failing to provide adequate roads to get us there.  In many cases, their attitude is that we shouldn’t be living here, despite the fact that the jobs are here.

As for schools, there is nothing more worthless than a United States government school degree.  With manufacturing jobs shrinking in the face of slave labor in China, the United States’ economy is largely dependent on kids going to 12 years of mind-numbing learning followed by 4-10 years of college education.

And what do we teach kids?  We teach them to read and write.  Poorly.  We teach them basic math.  Somewhat.  And then we rob them of critical thinking skills and imagination.  We require them to be able to read and understand Shakespeare, but fail to teach them simple economics or even how to balance a checkbook.  Take note: you may be able to properly quote and understand Hamlet, but if you can’t change a tire or understand the principles of supply and demand, you’re probably going to end up homeless spouting Elizabethan phrases on a soapbox.

I have no problems with Shakespeare.  I personally enjoyed Hamlet.  And I have studied it in depth.  Yet I was perplexed that I had to take 4 years of English class but no economics classes in High School.  Hell, even basic Keynesian stuff would have been more useful.

It’s true, the government builds the schools.  And they do a piss-poor job of managing them.  And their own solution to take more money away from us, either through direct taxation or inflation, and give it to the schools.  Of course, they tend to ignore where the money actually goes.  Yes teachers are underpaid.  But don’t you think that if we made sure that teachers got a majority of that money directly into their salaries, that better quality teachers would enter the market?

I guess politicians never took any economics classes either.

The fact is, nearly every government service is neither efficient nor effective in achieving its goals.  This is largely why I have trouble believing in most conspiracy theories because they would have to carried out by the most incompetent morons this side of life.  The roads are falling apart and the teachers are turning our kids into self-entitled sociopaths.

If it were truly a case between the government providing roads and schools or none at all, I think I’d go with the latter and education my own children and pave my own roads.  At least then I know that someone competent is doing it.

Medicare Rant

Author's Note: Originally, this post was call "Medicaid Rant" and I realized later (at 3:30 in the morning after being woken up by crying son) that I was referring to the wrong program. Good thing nobody really reads this blog, otherwise I would have had correction comments galore.

The Medicare program is a welfare.  Yes, most people on it now paid Medicare taxes for most of their careers.  But you never paid into a system.  There was never a promise that it would be anything other than welfare for the elderly.

These days, the program offers a wide range of benefits to the Baby Boomer generation like adult diapers, penis pumps, and Viagra.  Apparently 85% of the medical costs that Medicare covers are for none fatal ailments.  And while that number seems arbitrary, I wouldn’t be surprised if it is close to it or even higher.

And all of this comes at the cost of the productive work of the young.  The younger generation pays for the elderly to fuck as much as they like (and without the fear of pregnancy that a young person risks) and for the diapers they have to wear after their done while the young have to pay for the diapers for their children who were conceived when their father was too drunk to pull out.

That is the terrible world we live in.  The elderly use the government to get free shit at the expense of their own children.  The welfare state is literally eating the young and healthy in favor of the feeble and dying.  Civilization does not survive like this.  Eventually something will break and then the whole system unravels and leaves the elderly dying in a ditch as the apathetic youth walk past them while checking their text message for the next hook-up party as their sociopathic kids throw ice cream at the now homeless elders.

Perhaps it won’t get that bad.  But for some reason, the more government has gotten involved in healthcare, the higher the costs, the less efficient the system, and the more annoying it has gotten to deal with doctors.  I’m not an expert, but if more government creates more problems, then perhaps it is time we sever the government from the healthcare system.

It isn’t hard really.  Just remove all regulations, rules, mandates, subsidies, taxes, fines, and whatever else is attached to it.  Then fire everyone in the government involved.  You let the free market decide how to charge for healthcare.  I know, some people are worried about greedy doctors or hospitals refusing to treat patients.  Well, these doctors and hospitals are already overcharging patients on a daily basis.  I ,for one, would like just an upfront cost of the services, but I can’t get that until it gets processed through insurance.

But there have been other ways in the past, before health insurance.  My great-grandfather paid the doctor who delivered his children with bathtub gin.  And his wife had eleven children.  And if a border-line alcoholic doctor is willing to accept homemade gin from a poor family, I’m sure the rest of us could work something out.

The system is going to collapse and soon.  As the Gervais Principle states, the more Clueless people in an institution means that the system is about to die.  It is clear that the government is full of Clueless people whose misplaced loyalty blinds them to the truth of their oppressive actions.

While many feared that Obamacare was the path to Socialized medicine, in truth it is probably the last act to be passed before the bankruptcy hits and it all goes to shit.

Your Elected Officials

Further proof that our government is doomed:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid once urged Defense Secretary Robert Gates to spend taxpayer money on researching irritable bowel syndrome.

Gates revealed the strange request in his new memoir, “Duty,” writing that Reid made the plea while the military was fully engaged in two ongoing wars.

The sad thing is, this is not an anomaly.  I am almost certain that many, many Congress-idiots over the years have made equally absurd requests of various agencies.  I am almost sure that the buffoons who manage to get themselves elected do this kind of crap all the time.

And they are routinely ignored by the bureaucracy.  This is because the bureaucracy does not answer to the elected officials because they are permanent jobs versus the publicity whores who call themselves statesmen.  They know that they do not have to do a damn thing that these elected officials tell them.

And why should they when these buffoons request incredibly stupid and selfish things like IBS research?

Stupid Environmentalists

Environmentalists are sick people.  By sick, I mean deranged, irrational yahoos who would do anything in order further the cause of big government environmentalism.  The latest is Greenpeace posting a video about how Santa Claus won’t be able to give kids their presents because of global warming.  The video was released amid record low temperatures across the world.

In truth, these monsters don’t really care about the environment.  They want government to expand and control everything under their Socialist dogma.  The environment is more of an excuse than an actual reason.  If Al Gore cared so much, his mansion wouldn’t use more energy than the average middle class community.

Yes, there is pollution going on.  Sadly, it isn’t primarily from those corporations who are reviled for all the wrong reasons by the Left.  It is primarily from the USGov itself.  For example, there are no emissions standards for USGov-owned vehicles.  This means that military-grade hummers are not street-legal.  And note the hypocrisy of the government who claims to be protecting the environment while at the same time is destroying it.

Also note that the USGov court system allowed pollution to continue back in the 1800s when people sued factories for the filth that was pumped into the air.  It was all in the name of progress you see.  And let us not forget how BP bribed various inspectors and was able to get unsafe oil drilling conditions in the Gulf of Mexico.  That ended so well.

My main beef with modern day environmentalists is that they are too stupid to see how the world really works.  Fighting for the environment is great and noble, yet they seem think that the government will fix it.  I’ve got news for you all: the government has no interest in cleaning up the environment, only protecting the financial interests of a select few elite.  The only reason that pro-environment laws are passed is so that those elites are protected from competition.

It’s really that simple.

The Order of the USGov’s Default

The United States government’s national debt is going to be defaulted on.  This is a simple fact that most politicians are either ignoring or simply spinning in their public statements about it.  Whether they are stupid or malicious, only God can truly say, but the fact remains that the United States government is hopelessly in debt and the operators of it have no interest in decreasing it.

So with a default being inevitable I think it is high time that I take a stab at what debts are going to be defaulted on first.  Here is a quick rundown of who owns the national debt:

As you can see, the U.S. government owns about two-thirds of the national debt.  On top of that, the Federal Reserve owns 7%, making nearly half of the U.S. debt owned by the same assholes who are lending it.  Talk about fraud.

Anyway, while I could get into the breakdown of which agencies own the most bonds (Social Security being the largest), I think that is irrelevant for the topic of this blog.  I think it is a given that the United States government will not default on the debt it owes to itself.

So already, about 39% of the U.S. Debt will not be defaulted on until the very end.  So here is my determined order at which the United States will default on its own debt:

  1. U.S. Public debt holdings will be defaulted on.  All those treasury bonds will be declared to be worthless.  While I originally thought that the default might occur with all countries that don’t have close trade ties with the US, I realized that this group will be first solely because it is the second largest and because the USGov doesn’t give a damn about its own citizens.
  2. All other countries who hold treasury bonds will be defaulted on.  This is largely because there is very little incentive to maintain good diplomatic relations with many of them.
  3. After that, Japan will be defaulted on, largely because they are an ally, have the largest holding next to China, and because they are considered to be a backwards people by our racist overlords in both parties.  They are also in their own state of fiscal insanity and it is bad to owe money to desperate people.
  4. The UK will be defaulted on next.  At this point, however, the UK will probably see it coming and may sell their bonds to some dumb third-world nation that was a former colony.
  5. After this, China will be defaulted.  At this point China will be in desperate economic situations as well with their massively empty cities either due to smog or poor central planning.
  6. OPEC will come next, provided that OPEC is still trading oil with us.
  7. Finally, the USGov will default on itself, more than likely starting with lessor (non-essential) agencies building up the Social Security administration.

At this point, the Federal Reserve will be spared the default since they have the most influence on Congress.  And since most of the debt is gone, they will be the only ones to buy the bonds again.

That’s my breakdown.  It’s just simple conjecture based on my own observations of what is going these days.  Whether or not it is what will happen remains to be seen.

Healthcare.gov: Not Good Enough For Government Work

As a professional software developer and having spent over nine years in the field, I am mildly amused that Healthcare.gov is having so much trouble with their “services.”  Having lived on the rim of insanity most of my life and seeing so many people work for the Federal government either directly or indirectly through contracting, it comes as no surprise that a government-created website would fail.

I do not work for a government agency or contractor.  I never have worked for a Federal government contractor nor agency.  I sometimes wonder what it would be like to earn six figures and have less knowledge and experience than I do now.  But I remember that the Federal government basically runs a series of Ponzi schemes and engages in massive wealth redistribution and it’s better that I not infect others with my awesomeness through the USGov machine.

On why it has failed, I can think of a few reasons, given my own experience:

  • There was no testing done with the website.  At least no adequate testing.  What is more than likely to have happened is that the developers simply cobbled together a website and ran it on their local machines.  No performance testing was done.  No extensive quality control.  I’d be surprised if they had set up automated unit tests to ensure that their business rules weren’t broken when they made changes.  What probably happened is that the developers ran the website and just made sure it was functional.
  • The business requirements of the website were more than likely extreme and absurd.  This is to be expected when it comes to government requirement.  My guess is that Baby-killer friend Kathleen Sibelius herself was involved in many of the user requirements when it was designed.  In any case, the business logic of the website appears to be complicated and overdone.  The thing about websites and software development is, the simpler it is, the less likely it can go wrong.
  • There was probably very little design that went into development.  More than likely, the developers got the user requirements and just started throwing together a website.  While I don’t think they should have spent a whole lot of time on the design, they definitely didn’t do much of one.
  • Lack of third-party tools is another big fail.  In a system that registers users, a CRM base would have been easily used.  More than likely, however, is that the entire system was built from scratch.  This is not a good way to go about developing, especially when you’re going to have a larger pool of money than a private business.  I suspect, however, that there are certain requirements when it comes to developing software for government though and that my have prevented key third-party tools from being used.
  • More than likely, the Department of Health and Human Services dragged its feet on getting this website development going.  This meant that the developers had a limited timetable to get the website done.  Although I can’t imagine it taking more than a few months to complete.
  • More than likely, the developers were not experienced in developing websites for clients who had high traffic volumes.  If the website was solidly built, then fixing the high-volume traffic would be a simple matter of moving the site to a server system that can support it.  If that were the case, the site would be working.
  • The developers themselves were incompetent.  I’ve seen this happen before.  Basically, the developers were hired because of their credentials and because they are here on a work visa.  This is not to knock foreigners when it comes software development expertise, but when you have a solid professional working for less than the median average because you could deport him or her at any time, you are not going to get quality work.  I’m betting the development company that was contracted out had a slew of these kind of workers and looked at software development as akin to working an assembly line.  It is not.
  • EEOC restrictions probably hampered good development as well.  The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission once visited a company I worked for when they were trying to get a contract with the Post Office (fell through).  After looking over our department, they told my boss that he needed to hire more women.  Never mind that at the time we had only two white men (myself included), a handicapped Ethiopian, a Korean, two Nepalese people (my boss included), and a handicapped Indian.  No, our diversity required women.  My guess is that rather than hiring capable people, this software company probably hired based on race and gender first and foremost.

I’ve talked with seasoned developers during my career.  I can say that government work, be it direct or indirect, is not exactly a rewarding career path.  Sure you’ll probably make well above the median income for what you do, but at the same time you won’t do much.  And when you are doing something, it will either be stripped down or fail.

Good enough for government work, right?

Constant Crisis Mode Leads To Government Shutdown

Well, the Federal government has shutdown.  Except for all essential services, which is just about everything they do that pisses me off anyway, so it doesn’t matter.

But what really caused the shutdown?  A willingness not to compromise?  A government out of control in its spending?

I think it was the constant state of crisis management that has caused this.  The Federal government operates under a constant state of impeding doom, largely a holdover policy from the slightly more reality-based doomsday scenario of mutually assured destruction.

Our Federal government operates like it is in a constant state of war, except there are no invaders within our own borders.  Instead they make a lot of shit up like terrorists (no expanded to include non-violent people like myself and people who create alternate currencies) or drug dealers and use overtly military tactics against our own people.

The FBI seems to be content with entrapping people who never would have become a terrorists before undercover agents coaxed them into going along with a terrorist act.  The CIA seems to be shipping drugs into our country, despite them being illegal.

Meanwhile, every crisis is overblown by the Federal government and their cronies in the mainstream media in order to make you morons into thinking they are necessary.

The Federal government shutdown does nothing.  Essentially, we still pay taxes for the time that the non-essential employees are not working and for the mundanes, nothing much changes.

The march of tyranny must continue, after all.  Parks and recreational “public” services are optional.  But drone strikes against foreign children?  That’s all necessary.

Because of this constant crisis mode we are in, what ended up happening was the Federal government essentially could be shutdown so long as Congress doesn’t approve a budget.  And that is exactly what happened.

Government Lies About National Debt

The Federal government is openly lying about the size of its own National Debt:

The Treasury Department's Financial Management Service (FMS), which publishes both the federal government's official Daily Treasury Statement and its official Monthly Treasury Statement, is reporting that in July the federal government ran a deficit of $98 billion but that the federal government's debt remained exactly $16,699,396,000,000 for the entire month.

The FMS said that the deficit went up $98 billion ($97,594,000,000) in the Monthly Treasury Statment for July, which it released on Monday.

At the same time, the FMS said the debt stayed at exactly $16,699,396,000,000 in its Daily Treasury Statements, which are published every business day. The Daily Treasury Statements show the daily value of the federal government debt that is subject to a legal limit set by Congress.

For those of you who are a little ignorant in financial matters, basically the Federal government is overspending, which means they have to borrow money to do so, and not saying that their total debts have gone up. The equivalent is an individual who maxes out his or her credit cards then denies that they are maxed out.

This is why I don't trust the Federal government to report economic data. There is no compelling reason for politicians or bureaucrats, whose jobs are dependent on good economic news, to properly report it. When the economic news is "bad", it is probably much worse since they know that reporting good economic news would probably be seen as a lie. So they "spin" the data to make it look like things are "bad" but not as they really are.

Did you know, for instance, that the CPI-U, the number used to calculate the price inflation rate, will purposely exclude the prices of food, fuel, and housing because it is too volatile. So gasoline prices could skyrocket and the inflation rate could still be 3% or 4%.

This story serves as another example of how the government lies. What they are lying about and why they are lying is really what you should investigate, given that the stated premise of the previous sentence.

FBI Could Not Have Stopped Boston Bombing Because They SUCK

In what is increasingly coming as no surprise to anyone who is liberty-minded and knows how corrupt and degenerate Federal law enforcement is, the FBI has stated that they could not have prevented the Boston Marathon Bombing:

The F.B.I. has concluded that there was little its agents could have done to prevent the Boston Marathon bombings, according to law enforcement officials, rejecting criticism that it could have better monitored one of the suspects before the attack.

So let's get this straight: there was nothing that the FBI could do to stop the Boston bombing in spite of the clearly dozens of law enforcement officers and agents on the scene. They had been monitoring the Tsarnaev brothers previously and dropped their surveillance, probably because they like spying on white teenage girls more. And, assuming that the official story is true, they would still be unable to have stopped those boys.

I'm not buying it. This is typical of any organization or institution that is able to get money without having to worry about facing the lose of said money. Instead of taking professional responsibility for their failures as a law enforcement agency, the FBI has held their hands up in the air and said, "We couldn't have done anything".

Notice too that there are no calls for the agency to lose money as a result of their incompetence. Instead we will probably see this report be used as an excuse to give them more taxpayer dollars and expand their already overreaching, unconstitutional powers.

But it gets better (emphasis mine):

The most recent criticism of the F.B.I. from Congress came on Wednesday, when Representative William Keating, Democrat of Massachusetts, sent a letter to James B. Comey, the incoming F.B.I. director. In the letter, Mr. Keating demanded that the bureau respond to several questions about its actions in the years before the attack.

“What I am looking to do is identify our security shortcomings and change them,” Mr. Keating said in the letter. “Without forthright information from the F.B.I., we are prevented from taking the critical steps needed to protect the American public.”

Mr. Keating said in a telephone interview that the F.B.I. had refused three requests by the House Homeland Security Committee to testify about the attack, citing an investigation. “Until they give us facts that we can review as an independent branch of government, I don’t think that’s particularly useful what they think,” he said of the F.B.I.’s conclusion that there was little it could do to stop the attacks.

They are literally refusing to be held accountable for their incompetence. They are acting like they are avoid Congressional oversight and thus, they are a domestic army answerable only to whatever asshole is head of their bureau, with some concessions to whatever asshole is Attorney General.

At this point, I think it is clear that this law enforcement agency should be shut down. They have clearly done next to nothing to keep Americans safe and have done much more harm than good over the past several decades. They routinely stage entrapment operations of terrorists, which is a dangerous operation given that one wrong move and the FBI-encouraged terrorist could actually kill people, much like Timothy McVeigh.

They have also spied on the American public without warrants, gone undercover in peaceful militias encouraging them to become violent, and generally caused more public mayhem and civil unrest.

And when they are caught screwing up, they publicly state that they are responsible for their own incompetence. All you FBI agents can go fuck yourselves.
