Upcoming Blog Changes and Other Things

For those of you who read my blog regularly, first I would like to say thanks for reading the inane dribble of an escaped mental patient.

For the past few days, I’ve been working on altering my blog template to have a much less disorganized look to it.  This is part of the reason why I haven’t posted anything in the past couple of days.  However, I am much closer to completing my new look and feel and I will hopefully have something this weekend.

The other reason I’m not really posting much lately is because nothing is going on and I’m not really up for any deep and meaningful posts.  I think my well may have run a bit dry for the time being.  I’m sure things will come up, but for now I don’t have much to write about on my mind.

If I get my template up, I may write about my experiences with it (doing things with CSS is really challenging).  I’d like to make my blog a Web 2.0 page, but that may be farther down the road.  It looks to be doable and I’m sure I could put jQuery scripts into the blog, but the larger question is where and why would I do it.

The new look should provide a much simpler design (it will still have ads of course and please click on them to make me money :) ), so my stuff may be more legible.

I’ve also just finished getting my first iRiff uploaded and committed for sales.  If you have Son of Godzilla, I’ll post a link to it at some point in the future so you can enjoy my barely humorous quips about that movie.  To be honest, that whole process was a bit frustrating.  Not the recording, which did take a little longer than I thought it would, but getting the product on their website.  Rifftrax is not exactly an easy interface to use, but because they have maybe five developers working on it, I’ll cut them some slack.

I’m actually hoping to do more iRiffs in the future, probably just riff all the Godzilla films I can and move on to other films.

Well, I’ve blabbed on enough.  Here’s hoping I’ve completed the template by tomorrow.
