In a shocking turn of events, the Council for Freedom and Enlightenment stated that the People's Republic of China was set to be the next great Empire of the World and receive the Mark of Freedom. When pressed as to what caused them to come to this vital decision, their chief representative Moloch stated that it was simply a case of numbers.
"China, you see," he stated, "was able to sacrifice more babies than the United States. By our estimation, they sacrificed 136 million babies, mostly virgin girls, in our name. In the same timeframe, the United States only managed to sacrifice 63 million."
"And so, it is with great glee that we bestow our blessings, influence, and, above, material prosperity on the nation of China," he added.
When asked what was to happen to the current empire of the Western democracies, he simply stated that they would replace all their competent leaders with fools and idiots, their wealth would be confiscated, their food would be shipped out, and their civilization would face a massive collapse.
"It's unfortunate, but this is how we have done these things for centuries," Moloch reiterated adding, "I mean, it is a real shame, we had high hopes for the United States, but they never really successfully got rid of our enemy from the hearts of the people."
When pressed as to the various Enemy converts within China, he brushed off the concerns.
"Those groups are marginalized and largely of little influence in Chinese culture overall. Besides, the Chinese don't make a big deal out of ostracizing their own or even shipping them off the prison camps," he stated.
When US representatives were asked for comment, they just laughed uncontrollably and soiled themselves in what appeared to be the Curse of the Forsaken setting in.
